Items needed:

  • Feather duster
  • Surface cleaner
  • Cloth for surface cleaner
  • Hoover
  • Windex
  • Scrapper
  • Cloth for Windex
  • Ladder
  • Flat head screwdriver
  • De-solv-it (multi-purpose cleaner sticky spot and stain remover)

TOP AND BACK OF MACHINE

Step 1: Ensure machine breaks are on.

Step 2: Using your ladder, feather dust the top of the machine.

Step 3: Spray the top of the machine with surface cleaner and wipe the whole surface with the cloth you are using just for surface cleaner.

Step 4: Unlock the brakes and move machine out to access the back of the machine. Spray the back of the machine with surface cleaner and wipe the whole surface with the cloth.

Step 5: Move machine back into position and apply the brakes.

Step 6: Take a transaction photo of top/back of machine.

CENTRE CONSOLE AND PRIZE CHUTE

Step 1: Hoover inside the prize chute. Dust the borders at top of prize chute and back of prize door. Spray surface cleaner on the prize door and the border around it and wipe with a cloth ensuring all areas are cleaned.

Step 2: Open coin box door, using surface spray, spray and clean the whole door inside and outside.

Step 3: Inside the console clean any dust/dirt/spillages inside console area, take any rubbish out and bin it. This includes coin mech, note reader, wooden coin chute, and door edges inside and out.

Step 4: Outside of console should have no glue, if it does use De-solv-it to remove any glue. Use surface cleaner to spray the whole console and sides and wipe clean from top to bottom ensuring every part is wiped.

Step 5: Check behind the console between console and the glass. Often there is coins or cards stuck here. Using a flat head screw driver, remove anything stuck here.

Step 6: Take a transaction photo of centre console and prize chute.

PRIZE POOL AREA AND INSIDE OF MACHINE

Step 1: Remove stock from the machine
Step 2: Hoover inside prize pool area underneath the filler balls.

Step 3: Using surface cleaner, spray and wipe the borders inside the machine.
Step 4: Spray and wipe the gantry head including the top of the gantry head.

Step 5: Using a cloth and flat head screw driver, spray and clean around the grooves of the door. Especially on a jumbo, maxi and double depot machine, making sure there is no dirt in the grooves.

Step 6: Take a transaction photo of prize pool area and inside of machine.

WINDOWS AND OUTSIDE OF MACHINE

Step 1: Take the poster down inside the machine.

Step 2: Spray Windex over any cellotape marks on back of machine. Using the scrapper, scrape off all marks on the back window. Once all removed, wipe clean with the cloth and Windex. Window should be spotless and mark free.

Step 3: Spray Windex on all windows on the inside of the machine. Using a cloth only for the Windex spray, wipe down the windows from top to bottom going side to side ensuring every part of the window is wiped.

Step 4: Spray Windex on all windows on the outside of the machine. Using a cloth only for the Windex spray, wipe down the windows from top to bottom going side to side ensuring every part of the window is wiped.

Step 5: Using surface cleaner spray the headers, corner covers, front and side headers and wipe down with a cloth. If any marks that did not come off, try with De-solv-it.

Step 6: Take a transaction photo of windows and outside of machine.
